Mo Kim
- About
-
"Mo Kim creates installation-based works that engage audiences in aesthetic experiences. He explores how institutional mechanisms in the art world operate and the underlying value judgments they entail. Reconfigured by the artist, these systems are presented as specific contexts or conditions, becoming complete artworks only through interaction with the audience. His work serves as a critical tool to examine the conventionally structured art system from multiple perspectives, while also reflecting on the growing disconnect between art and everyday life.
Mo Kim has participated in various residency programs, including the Nanji Residency, Incheon Art Platform, Goyang Residency, and Agora Affect. He has also carried out a number of projects, including the Disaster-Art Project, 01 Store Project, The Souvenir Store Project, and PBC Cafe Project."
